Reaching out to web sites who can help promote a comic book project you’re working on can be tough, especially when there are so many out there. The big sites don’t always do a good job of paying attention to smaller press stuff, so getting the word out can be tricky.
One of the many areas we’re trying to help creators understand better is the marketing and PR side of things, which is often their responsibility to handle. We have a detailed piece up called How to Get Press For Your Indie Comic or Kickstarter Project that walks you through some common practices, but below, you’ll find a list of web sites that cover comic books, and pop culture topics.
Hopefully these will help you find good people to help with coverage of your exciting project!
For a downloadable list of the contact emails we’ve been able to gather for the above web sites, please click below:
If the idea of doing this all yourself is daunting to you, you can also consider reaching out to a professional who can assist. There are a number of folks who specialize in comic book marketing, and have extensive contact lists to help spread the word about your project. Check out that list here.
If there are any sites missing from the list that should be added in, let us know! Leave us a comment or email info@creatorresource.com to help us make this more accurate.
