Trying to get your books and merch on store shelves is a real hustle and sometimes you just gotta know people to make any sort of headway. We put out a call online to see which stores around the world support local creators by selling their indie comics, zines, pins, patches, and more.
This list is based on audience feedback. We’re confident that all the stores listed do work with indie creators, but if you see a store not listed, it doesn’t mean that they don’t work with indie creators. If your local store isn’t listed, it never hurts to just ask them if they will accept your indie comics (either by outright buying them or on consignment).

Gotham Underground in Ramsey NJ also sells indie and local creators work.
Safari Pearl, located in Moscow, ID. They’ve supported indy artists (including myself) since at least the mid-90s.
The Comic Hunter in Moncton NB Canada was wonderful to deal with on our indie title. They encouraged signings and promoted them. They actively support local talent!
Samurai Comics in Phoenix, Arizona is pretty awesome for indie.
